There are times in life where the fog seems to swirl up around you, and you are either thrown back into dependence on God, or left wandering in confusion for a time.
We seem to be entering a foggy time at the moment. Our boss has announced his retirement, and so we are waiting with some trepidation for the process to work itself out. We are sad that he is leaving; he has been a wonderful pastor to us. It's the right decision, but we're still sad.
We're also waiting to see what will happen in the next year or so. How will the new family settle in? Will there be a smooth transition or a sudden dissonance? All these issues we are praying about. It may not be until the end of the year that things change. We wait and see. And trust.
