I'm all for the streamlined, futuristic look of the Macbook Air (though the practicality is a little wanting), but there's just something about Art Deco style that really appeals to me.
There's a bloke in the US who has done quite a few custom PCs and cases based on the clean lines of art deco systems. Like this, or this one based on a 1940s Radio case:
