I don't know whether you can see the detail of this graph, but it's an epidemiological record of the number of deaths from influenza, two forms of pneumonia and acute bronchitis between 1889 and 1919. Note the huge spike at the bottom from the 1918 flu epidemic. Scary times, those days.It's interesting seeing the seasonal change. This is a northern hemisphere graph, so there are increases every winter.
