The Artist's Honeymoon by Lord Leighton
It's nothing to do with the quality of the work, really. I would say that it is fairly mundane as far as Pre-Raphaelite (or any) art goes. The thing that appeals to me is the sense of togetherness in the couple. They seem to be working together as a unit.
That's my ideal of marriage.

Hmmm -
She is hogging his room (he is trying to get some work done).
He is holding her hand so she doesn't smudge the sketches for his new painting project.
She is also hogging all the sunlight and you can see he is clearly greyish in complexion because of it.
Ideal marriage???
So you think she's butting in, rather than sharing the project?
Fine. Take all the fun out of it!
:p
